John, known to all as “Hendo” has played for the Masada for 6 years. Before joining the team he was a member of Wagleys. Hendo also represents Grampian at County level, and Aberdeen “A” in the Grampian Super League. Since joining the Masada Hendo has been seen at many tournaments throughout Europe, hopeing to gain enough ranking points to give him an invitation to the World Championships and other major tournaments.  Hendo saw his ambition come true in 2005 when he made it through the qualifying stages at Bridlington to reach the World Championships at Lakeside . During his time there he was supported by many team mates and friends who helped him through to the 2nd round, where he was narrowly beaten by the eventual runner up and England team Captain Martin Adams. Hendo’s other big passion away from darts is cheering on his football team at Celtic Park and around Scotland.
