Matt played his darts in the Glasgow leagues where he won many trophies before moving up to Aberdeen in 1989 . He is one of the most respected players in the Area, and has been at the top of the game for many years.
He has appeared in 5 ADA Singles and 5 ADA Doubles finals which he has won 2 and 4 times respectively.
He has partnered Bob Taylor over recent years and won many pairs trophies which include the Scottish and Caithness titles.
Matt has been a member of the Charlotte and Northern bar in Aberdeen before joining the Masada in 2004.
Matt has played Counties for over 26 years, 19 of them with Grampian which he has well over 100 appearances .
Matt also plays super league for Aberdeen 'A'.
He has also been to the Embassy/World championship qualifiers on 4 occasions as well as winning the Scottish play off to qualify for the Winmau finals.
